[wordpress] 画像URLを指定してアイキャッチ画像を設定する方法

wordpressのアイキャッチ画像を設定するには、WebUIからだけでなくwp_insert_attachment関数を使用してプログラム経由で設定することができるが、wp_insert_attachmentはローカルにおいてある画像のみ指定できるため、通常ではインターネット上にある画像を指定することができない。

以下の方法でインターネット上にある画像をアイキャッチ画像として登録することが可能

func_uploadImage_from_urlという関数を作成してみた

使い方としては

$post_id = "1";
$image_url = "https://www.example.com/image/main.png"
func_uploadImage_from_url($post_id,$image_url);

一旦ローカルのメディアイメージに保存してからアイキャッチ画像として登録している
